Hello everyone!
I hope you all are well! It has been a crazy minute since I posted a blog on here. My apologies for that. It has been a whirlwind of a few months! For those of you who don’t know, I was supposed to move to Orlando, Florida this upcoming month but the move had to take another backseat. I will still reside in Buffalo, NY for a few more months so please get your sessions and services in with me while you can! Spring is finally here so that means more outdoor sessions which I personally love to do! Natural lighting is my absolute favorite so I am looking forward to seeing each and every one of you for your engagements, headshots, and family sessions. I do have access to the lake near the Dock at the Bay so we can totally do some amazing sunset, family, and engagement sessions as well.
I have begun doing my concert photography after a 2 year hiatus. Portraits have overtaken my line of work so I didn’t have as much time during the night to photograph. I was so busy editing portraits which can take hours at a time! It feels good to get back into the music scene. I have missed it so much! Marcus Miller, (founder of AudioVein Entertainment; www.audioveinentertainment.com) and I have been traveling to cities to capture the energy of many bands and singers commanding numerous stages. It has been a lot of fun! I will post some of the images I have captured in a new gallery for you to view!
Lastly, I recently have been undergoing some training to start photographing newborns. It has been insanely interesting to learn. You learn to adapt to a new kind of patience as well. You work for the babies, they do not work for you, haha! I am hoping to become the baby whisperer at the end of my training! I definitely have a newfound respect for newborn photographers because man, it can be super challenging! I started the “Milky Way Newborn Retreat” a couple months ago and the knowledge I have obtained has been absolutely mind blowing. Thankfully, my extended family have been producing babies left and right so I, at least, have babies to practice photo sessions with. I don’t plan on offering these sessions for a little while but once I get them perfected, they will be offered to you in the future! If any of you out there are expecting a newborn, I would be happy to practice photographing them. In return, you will receive some enhanced portraits to bring home so it works out for both you and I! Below are one of the sessions I have done with my newborn niece, Emma! She was an easy baby to photograph and absolutely adorable. She decided that she wanted to sleep on the moon 🙂
